Binary Installation
Please Note
Download and install the binary package for your corresponding operating system from the following address.
Command-Line Interface
DataCap CLI provides a terminal-based interactive shell for executing queries. The CLI is an executable JAR file, which means it works like a regular UNIX executable.
Requirements
The CLI requires an available Java Virtual Machine on your PATH. It can be used with Java 8 and later versions.
The command-line interface communicates with the system through the DataCap client REST API (HTTP/HTTPS protocols).
The CLI version must be the same as or newer than the system version.
Installation
Download
Download datacap-client-cli-1.6.0.jar, rename it to datacap, and use chmod +x to make it executable.
Running the CLI
./datacap connect -h 127.0.0.1 -p 9096 -u username -P password
If successful, you will see a prompt for executing commands. Use the help command to view the list of supported commands.
