Agile Development Platform

A newly open-sourced development platform featuring a Vue3 TypeScript front-end and back-end separation.

The front end is built with Vue3 Composition API, TypeScript, Element-plus, Pinia, and Axios. It supports three layout options and customizable themes. The back end is built on the AgileBPM workflow and form engine, SpringBoot, MybatisPlus, Activiti7, Jackson, JDK17, Hutool, and other mainstream technologies.

The back end uses a Maven modular SOA-based SpringBoot monolithic architecture with loosely coupled modules that can be selectively combined to form a microservices architecture.

4. Feature Overview

AgileBPM Rapid Development Platform is a completely new version based on JDK17, Activiti7, Vue3, TS, Vite, and ElementPlus. It features a brand-new technology stack and user experience. We will continue updating low-code features such as OA personnel management and asset management. Stay tuned.

Version 2.5 currently includes the following features:

• Personal Workspace: To-Do Tasks, CC and Circulation, Processing History, Initiate Requests, Request History, My Drafts
• Content Management: Announcements, News
• Organization Management: Organization Management, User Management, Role Management, Position Management. After more than ten years of development experience and exposure to countless organizational structures, I consider this one of the most streamlined and well-designed models.
• Workflow Management: Form Design, Workflow Design, Workflow Instance Management, Task Management, System Dialog Management. (Currently based on AgileBPM's commercial components. If they are not suitable, you can switch to workflow modules from other frameworks. None have met our standards so far.)
• System Management: Dictionary Category Management, Exception Logs, System Resources, System Properties, Common Scripts, SMS and Email Notifications

Development Plan

Version 2.6 is planned to introduce an OA Personnel Management module.

Planned features include Recruitment Requirements, Recruitment Interviews, Employee Records, Probation Confirmation, Job Transfers, and Resignation Management.

Features Planned for Future Releases (Schedule TBD)

• HR Management: Leave Requests, Overtime, Business Trips, and Field Attendance Check-ins
• Asset Management: Asset Information, Asset Allocation, Asset Transfers, and Purchase Requests
• Continuously maintain the front-end toolkit and component library. The source code will be released once the component library is stable.
• Maintain TypeScript type definitions for some features used in the system. Due to the current heavy development workload, some pages have not yet been updated.
• Homepage Components, such as Announcements, News, and To-Do Tasks
• Common Phrases, Dark Mode Support, Full Internationalization Support, and In-App Message Notifications

5. Tech Stack

Getting Started

1. Download the agile-bpm-basic project, import it into the project as a Maven project, and execute mvn clean install -DskipTests in the root directory.
2. Execute the database script to create the database: /doc/sql/mysql/full/agilebpm_full.sql
3. Modify the database, Redis, and other configuration files at \\ab-spring-boot\\ab-spring-boot-app\\src\\main\\resources\\application.yml. Detailed comments are provided in the configuration file. Please make the necessary changes.
4. Start the back-end service using the Main method: \\ab-spring-boot\\ab-spring-boot-app\\src\\main\\java\\com\\dstz\\AbSpringBootApp.java. The default port is 8080.
5. Download the frontend project agilebpm-ui, and run the command yarn install in the root directory.
6. After installation is complete, modify the backend service address in vite.config.ts, such as [http://localhost:8080/](http://localhost:8080/), then run npm run dev to start the frontend project.

By default, visit the frontend URL [http://127.0.0.1:8088/](http://127.0.0.1:8088/) to explore the project.

VS Code is recommended as the frontend development IDE. Be sure to install the following extensions.
