Redis (Remote Dictionary Server) is an open-source, ANSI C-based, network-enabled, in-memory and persistent log-based Key-Value database that provides APIs for multiple programming languages.
Redis is an open-source (BSD-licensed), in-memory data structure server that can be used as a database, cache, and message queue broker. It supports strings, hashes, lists, sets, sorted sets, bitmaps, hyperloglogs, and other data types. Built-in features include replication, Lua scripting, LRU eviction, transactions, and multiple levels of disk persistence. High availability is provided through Redis Sentinel, while automatic partitioning is provided through Redis Cluster.
