BeeFlow Workflow

workflow-engine is a free and open-source workflow designer for the BeeFlow workflow system. The designer provides a complete set of features, including workflow approval, form design, and approval process design, ready to use out of the box.

After using this designer for quite some time, we found it to be quite good, so we decided to open-source the frontend workflow designer code. We hope it will help more developers, and we also look forward to your feedback.

Basic Workflow Information

Form design

We provide a rich collection of form design components, allowing you to easily and flexibly build complex form fields. Each component comes with corresponding parameter configurations, giving you greater flexibility in controlling how each component is displayed.

Workflow Design

The workflow designer supports three main node types: approval nodes, notification nodes, and branch nodes. Approval nodes: Configure approvers for each node, supporting multi-level approval, joint approval, and sequential approval. Additional approvers can also be added or removed during workflow execution. Notification nodes: Specify recipients for notifications at any stage of the workflow. Branch nodes: Support complex branching conditions and can dynamically match conditions based on the defined form components.

Conditions support text matching for required form fields, single-select and multi-select option matching, arithmetic comparisons for numbers and amounts, initiator source matching, and more.

General Settings: Supports approval types such as fixed personnel, supervisors, department heads, and roles. Advanced Settings: When multiple approvers are specified, supports joint approval and sequential approval.
