4. Feature Overview
Evolution: jeesuite-libs → Mendmix
The first version was released in 2015 under the name jeesuite-libs, which has been used ever since. It was positioned as utility software, with the core principle that each module could operate completely independently. After nearly eight years of development and refinement through technical platform development, digital transformation, and enterprise cloud migration projects at multiple large companies, the level of customization continued to increase. jeesuite-libs evolved from a collection of independent components into a logically complete solution, forming a comprehensive solution for distributed and cloud-native architectures. Because of this transformation, jeesuite-libs was no longer aligned with our development direction, so it has now been renamed Mendmix.
About Mendmix
-
✅ Meaning: Mend + Mix. Addresses the challenges of integrating different frameworks and combining solutions across various scenarios to form a complete, internally consistent solution.
-
✅ Philosophy: Integration, enhancement, inclusiveness, and consistency.
-
✅ Principles: Minimal dependencies for operation; enhance rather than modify the underlying dependency frameworks; stay close to business scenarios and implement only useful features.
One-Stop Solution
Mendmix provides a comprehensive set of distributed component integration capabilities, ready to use out of the box. With Mendmix, you can quickly build highly concurrent, highly available, cloud-native distributed architectures without worrying about technical details.
Easy to Use
Mendmix is built entirely on mainstream frameworks, focusing on enhancements without making any underlying custom modifications. It runs with minimal dependencies and uses configuration-driven compatibility with various middleware solutions and deployment scenarios.
Stable and reliable
Since its open-source release seven years ago, Mendmix has had its overall solution adopted by dozens of companies. I have personally completed microservices architecture upgrades from scratch, technical platform development, and enterprise cloud migration projects based on Mendmix for three large publicly listed companies.
