1. Project Overview

ApiBoot: Built for Component-Based API Service Development
ApiBoot is a practical solution for implementing API services. It provides a series of ready-to-use components that simplify the integration of mainstream third-party frameworks through encapsulation. This improves developer productivity, reduces learning costs, lowers the entry barrier, and truly delivers an out-of-the-box experience!
Developers with basic knowledge of Spring Boot can build secure and stable API services, providing rich and secure interfaces for multiple endpoints, including mobile applications and web applications.
ApiBoot depends on Spring Boot and can be used to build standalone Java applications.

4. Feature Overview
ApiBoot is built specifically for API services. It extends Spring Boot and provides automated configuration. By encapsulating a series of Starters, it enables developers to integrate components quickly, lowering the learning and usage barriers while improving development efficiency.
ApiBoot depends on Spring Boot and can be used to build standalone Java applications.
Vision:
-
Provide Java developers with low-barrier solutions for integrating third-party frameworks, making complex framework integration and usage easier.
-
Ready to use out of the box. Mainstream frameworks are encapsulated internally, so you only need to add dependencies and configure a few simple settings to get started.
-
Each component can be used independently without introducing unnecessary dependencies into your application.
-
Build secure RESTful resource API services quickly and easily.
-
Can be used to build Spring Cloud microservice instances.
-
Contribute to open source and help more developers benefit from open-source frameworks.
5. Tech Stack
Installation & Getting Started
For instructions on using each component, please refer to the official documentation. To get started, visit the First ApiBoot Application guide.
If you use Maven to build your project, you need to add the fixed ApiBoot version dependency to your pom.xml file, as shown below:
Note: Replace lastVersion with the latest ApiBoot version. Visit Version Dependencies - 2. Get the Latest ApiBoot Dependency for details.
After adding the version dependency, you can add the ApiBoot components required by your project. The following example demonstrates how to use the distributed tracing component minbox-logging:
After adding the component, you can find its corresponding documentation in the official reference guide and follow the instructions to configure and use it.
