1. Project Overview
Dashan Backend Development and Management System
Dashan Backend Development and Management System was developed and open-sourced to help frontend developers quickly and easily build backend management systems. It uses NestJs as the backend development framework and Vue3 + Ts + Vite as the frontend framework. It is licensed under the MIT License.
This is a NestJs-based system designed for frontend developers who want to become full-stack developers. Users should have some knowledge of server-side technologies and services such as databases, Redis, and Nginx. It can be used for all types of Web applications, including website administration panels, membership centers, CMS, CRM, OA, and online stores. It also includes AI capabilities and supports secondary development to create business systems that better meet your specific needs. The author will continuously release system updates, including but not limited to features such as workflow management and AI-powered business pop-up windows.

Nest (NestJS) is a framework for building efficient and scalable Node.js server-side applications. It uses progressive JavaScript, is built with and fully supports TypeScript (while still allowing developers to write pure JavaScript), and combines elements of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), FP (Functional Programming), and FRP (Functional Reactive Programming).
Under the hood, Nest uses powerful HTTP server frameworks such as Express (by default), and can also be configured to use Fastify!
Nest provides an abstraction layer on top of popular Node.js frameworks such as Express and Fastify, while also exposing their APIs directly to developers. This gives developers the freedom to use the countless third-party modules available for the underlying platforms.
In recent years, thanks to Node.js, JavaScript has become the universal language of the Web for both frontend and backend applications. This has given rise to outstanding projects such as Angular, React, and Vue, which have improved developer productivity and enabled the creation of fast, testable, and scalable frontend applications. However, despite the vast ecosystem of excellent libraries, utilities, and tools available for Node.js (and server-side JavaScript), none of them have effectively addressed the following major issue: - Architecture.
Nest provides an out-of-the-box application architecture that allows developers and teams to build highly testable, scalable, loosely coupled, and maintainable applications. This architecture is heavily inspired by Angular.
