1. Project Overview
AX
A Windows-style backend management system
AX is Windows in your browser. It allows you to manage files on remote servers with comprehensive permission management. Built with Vue3/Java, its backend is forked from RuoYi, enabling rapid generation of CRUD code.

-
Login Log: Record and query system login logs, including login exceptions.
-
Online Users: Monitor the status of active users in the system.
-
Scheduled Tasks: Online (add, modify, delete) task scheduling, including execution result logs.

-
Form Features: Field Filtering: Dynamically configure table headers with built-in memory. View Switching: Provides table view and card view. Some content in card view may require code modifications. Search History: Records previously searched content for quick and convenient input. Shortcuts: Double-click card content to edit; double-click form content to edit.
5. Tech Stack
Desktop Devices / Mobile Devices: The projects are completely independent and do not use responsive design. Tables cannot be displayed effectively on mobile devices.
Desktop Version: Uses a Windows-style design
Mobile Version: Uses an Android-style design [Under Development...]
Sub-repositories
-
This project contains multiple sub-repositories. Clone and download them as needed.
-
resource: Static resources, images, and help documentation directory
-
web-vue3: Frontend code
-
backend: Backend Java code
-
nodejs: Auxiliary backend for development
If you are new to AX, you can start by installing the frontend. Backend and static resource addresses can be switched directly in the interface.
About the Backend
-
The backend includes additional modifications to the original RuoYi source code and is largely compatible with RuoYi.
-
Database option ax/backend/sql/ax.sql: Open-minded mode, unlocking all AX capabilities.
-
Database option ax/backend/sql/ry.sql: Conservative mode, providing only RuoYi features.
-
There is currently no tutorial for low-code generation. The workflow is consistent with RuoYi.
About the Frontend
-
Avoid modifying the system's built-in feature code whenever possible.
-
Window Parameter Passing: Examples are provided in the project. Multiple windows are not currently supported, as reducing code complexity is not yet feasible. If needed, refer to the Notepad implementation.
-
Code Generation: Refer to the system test table. The corresponding files are loaded based on component paths configured in Menu Management. As long as the directory structure is correct, no manual import is required.
-
All business logic must be written inside the window.
About Resources
-
AX's image resources, frontend code, and backend code are completely separated. This is an ambitious experiment.
-
Image resources can be hosted on GitHub, Nginx, or custom servers and switched freely through the interface.
-
Images, avatars, and other resources can be added, deleted, and modified freely. The frontend supports selecting and loading them.
-
Static resources are used by the avatar selector, background selector, and image selector.
-
If you have copyright requirements, be sure to replace all images in the resource repository with your own custom images and regenerate the JSON.
-
All image resources are sourced from the internet.
