Getting started guide

Install PandaWiki

You need a Linux system that supports Docker 20.x or later versions to install PandaWiki.

Log in to your server with root privileges, then execute the following commands.

Follow the command prompts to install, the command execution process will take a few minutes, please wait patiently.

Log in to PandaWiki

After the installation command execution is complete, your terminal will output the following content.

SUCCESS  Console information:

SUCCESS    Password: **********************

Using the browser to open the 'Access Address' in the above content, you will see the PandaWiki console login portal.

You can log in by using the 'Username' and 'Password' in the above content.

Create a knowledge base

After the first login to PandaWiki, you need to create a 'Knowledge Base' first.

A 'Knowledge Base' is a collection of documents, and PandaWiki will create a 'Wiki Website' for each knowledge base based on the documents in the knowledge base.

Configure AI models

PandaWiki is a Wiki system driven by AI large models, and without configuring the large model, AI creation, AI Q&A, AI search, etc. functions cannot be used normally.

Click the 'System Configuration' button in the upper right corner of the PandaWiki console, and configure the 'Chat Model', 'Embedding Model', 'Rerank Model' according to the pictures below.

It is recommended to use the Hundred Intelligence Cloud Model Plaza to quickly access AI models, and you can register to receive a 5 yuan model usage quota for free. For more configuration details about large models, please refer to Accessing AI Models.

If you have successfully completed the above steps, congratulations, your PandaWiki has been successfully built, and you can:

• Access  Console to manage your knowledge base content
• Access  Wiki website to let your users use the knowledge base
