1. Project Overview

vue-plugin-hiprint (based on hiprint 2.5.4) was originally named this way simply to make it easier for the author of vue-plugin-hiprint (not the original hiprint author) to integrate and use it in Vue projects.

This plugin is only a JavaScript [utility library], not a Vue [component library]. Therefore, it does not include the component pages shown in the demo by default (you can copy and use the demo code separately).

Since the last update to the official hiprint website was in 2019 [hiprint 2.5.4 is licensed under LGPL], numerous optimizations and adjustments have subsequently been made based on feedback and requests from many users.

• NodeJs version 16.x is required (development uses 16.18.1).

• 【vue-plugin-hiprint】 and 【the official hiprint.io website】 differ significantly. Do not mix them up! Do not mix them up! Do not mix them up!

• Please use the printing client associated with this project, or modify the printing client source code yourself to ensure compatibility with this project's templates!

• The main branch contains the latest code of the integrated version. If you do not need to modify hiprint-related code, please install it through the npm package.

• When using the direct client, local development connections work correctly, but after deploying online, cross-origin issues may prevent connections to the printing client:

• To resolve cross-origin issues in production, upgrade to HTTPS!

• To submit a PR, please go to GitHub. After merging, the npm package will be published automatically and the code will be synchronized to Gitee.

• The vue-plugin-hiprint package does not include a UI interface, so you need to implement one yourself. For faster integration, see the sv-print component library.
