Differences Between the Open-Source and Commercial Editions

• The Commercial Edition provides the [Production Management] module.
• The Commercial Edition supports custom entity extensions.
• The Commercial Edition supports print template design.
• The Commercial Edition supports template printing.
• The Commercial Edition supports Excel template export.
• The Commercial Edition includes a mobile version, allowing a single codebase to be deployed to H5, Android, and iOS platforms. A desktop version is also provided.
• The Commercial Edition provides visual dashboard design functionality.
• The Commercial Edition provides technical support, while the Open-Source Edition only offers an open-source community group.

Project Startup and Getting Started

• Before running the project, first review the backend appsettings.json configuration property documentation. (Be sure to modify the DbType property to match the database you are using. Database scripts are located in the DB folder.)
• 1. Start the backend project: The backend project is located at ../iMES.WebApi. Find and click the dev_run.bat command to start it. The default backend port is 9991. (If dev_run.bat closes immediately, use CMD to navigate to the ../iMES.WebApi directory and execute dotnet run to view the error messages.) If you have never executed the npm install command, use CMD to navigate to the frontend Vue project directory ../iMES.Vue and execute npm install.
• 2. Start the frontend project: The frontend Vue project is located at ../iMES.Vue. Find and click the run.bat command to start it.
• (1) (If run.bat closes immediately, the environment is not configured correctly. Use CMD to navigate to the ../iMES.Vue directory and execute npm run dev to view the error messages.)
• (2) Use CMD to navigate to the ../iMES.Vue directory and execute npm cache clear --force, or install Node.js version 14.15.1.
• (3) Enter http://localhost:8080 to access the application. (For the local super administrator username and password, please refer to the READMD.md file.)
