1. Project Overview

Introduction
- In a narrow sense, DBAPI is a low-code tool for data warehouse developers. You only need to write SQL and configure parameters on the web interface to automatically generate HTTP APIs. It helps programmers quickly develop backend data interfaces and is particularly suitable for backend API development for BI reports and data visualization dashboards.
- In a broader sense, DBAPI is the central management platform for enterprise data APIs and the platform through which enterprises provide external data services. It supports dynamic creation and publishing of data APIs, centralized API management, and client management capabilities. It can monitor client API calls and control client access permissions.

4. Feature Overview
Features
- Ready to use out of the box. No programming required. Standalone mode does not depend on other software (only requires a Java runtime environment).
- Supports standalone and cluster modes, as well as cloud-native containerized deployment.
- Supporting Dynamic Creation, Modification of APIs; Dynamic Creation, Modification of Data Sources. Hot Deployment Throughout No Sense.
- Supports API-level access permission control, including IP whitelist and blacklist management.
- Supports all types of databases through the JDBC protocol, including MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Hive, Oracle, and more.
- Supports dynamic SQL similar to MyBatis, including SQL editing, execution, and debugging.
- Provides extensive plugin extensions, supporting caching, data transformation, and failure alerts.
- Supports API configuration import and export, making it easy to migrate APIs from testing environments to production environments.
- Supports executing multiple SQL statements within a single API (such as pagination), with transaction enable and disable options.
- Supportapplication/jsonandapplication/x-www-form-urlencoded
- Supports querying API call logs and viewing API access statistics.

Zero Code
No coding is required. Simply write SQL and configure parameters on the page, and the SQL will be directly converted into HTTP APIs.
Lightweight and easy to use
One-click startup with no dependency on other software (standalone mode)
Rich plugin ecosystem
Supports a wide range of plugins, including data transformation, caching, and alerting plugins
Supports all relational databases
Supports databases using JDBC protocols, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Hive, ClickHouse, Kylin, and more
Dynamic API creation
Supports dynamically creating, editing, disabling, and deleting APIs. APIs can be published dynamically without restarting the application
Client Management
Supports creating multiple clients and granting them authorized API access. Client API calls can be monitored and logged, with API usage statistics available
