4. Feature Overview

1. The frontend is developed using Uniapp, a framework based on Vue.js for building cross-platform applications. Developers write a single codebase that can be published to iOS, Android, Web (responsive), and various mini-program platforms.

2. The backend is developed using RuoYi, a SpringBoot-based permission management system featuring readable and understandable code and a clean, attractive interface. Its core technologies include Spring, MyBatis, and Spring Security. The system provides comprehensive functionality and a clearly structured codebase.

This project was created around June 2022, and the author spent approximately two years completing it.

Although the project is not fully complete, its overall data architecture is reasonably well designed, making it easy to improve existing features and add new ones. There are still many areas that can be enhanced. For example, the real-name authentication page could be made more detailed, and features such as maps could be added to the property details page.

Originally, someone approached the author to develop a rental housing mini-program for a small real estate agency. They did not provide any design mockups or specific requirements, simply asking the author to build it based on their own ideas. When the project was nearly complete, the person who made the introduction disappeared, and nothing further came of it. Rather than deleting the project entirely, the author decided to open-source it and share it with everyone for discussion and learning.

This project also taught the author a few valuable lessons. Whenever someone commissions you to develop a project, regardless of its size, you should think carefully before accepting the job. This is especially important when no deposit is paid. Be cautious of people who say, 'Just get started first, and we'll discuss the payment later.' Even if the person is someone you know, you should exercise the same caution. You should also avoid casually accepting projects without clearly defined requirements, as such clients are likely to change their minds halfway through. Failing to think things through can result in wasted time and effort.

This program has been tested and is ready to use. You can customize the interface to suit your needs. The author loves full-stack development, Vue, Java, and programming. Due to limited time and energy, there are still many areas that could not be fully implemented. Feedback and suggestions for improvement are welcome!
