1. Project Overview

ThingsPanelIt is a general and open-source IoT application platform, aiming to reduce development work and accelerate IoT project delivery through reusable components.

PluginizationIt is the largest feature of ThingsPanel, through plugins, the complexity of IoT is greatly reduced. Further reduce costs, improve efficiency. At the same time, also reduce the difficulty and cost of maintenance.

The plugins of ThingsPanel mainly have three categories, respectively:

• Device plugins
• Protocol plugins
• Visualization plugins

In addition, there are two reusable parts, respectively:

• Message parsing script
• Rule engine script

Through the above five kinds ofReusecan greatly improve the development efficiency, compared with the previous way, it can be multiplied by several times, reduce costs.
